'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner allegedly dumped secret girlfriend for gaining weight

A woman who claims to have dated “The Golden Bachelor” star Gerry Turner is accusing the beloved reality star of dumping her because she gained weight.
The woman, who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter and wanted to be identified only as “Carolyn,” claims she dated Turner for 10 months before moving into his home on Big Long Lake in Hudson, Indiana.
A text message allegedly from Turner sent to Carolyn on Sept. 2, 2017, and reviewed by THR reads, “D–m, I go to bed at night thinking of you and wake up in the morning thinking of you.”
That means Turner would have sent the text less than three months after his wife of of 43 years, Toni, tragically died of an infection despite claiming to have been heartbroken amid losing her.
Carolyn said she moved into Turner’s lake house in July 2018 and the relationship came to a close ahead of his high school reunion in October 2019.
“I’m not taking you to the reunion looking like that,” Carolyn claims Turner told her, gesturing to her body as she had gained 10 pounds due to stress.
This led to the pair going their separate ways — and Turner demanding that she be out of the house by Jan. 1, 2020.
Carolyn claimed she also suffered an injury after falling down the stairs while packing up her things, which resulted in a trip to the emergency room.
Turner apparently wasn’t home at the time of the fall and allegedly blamed Carolyn for doing it on purpose in order to extend her stay in the home.
He also allegedly made her get a hotel while she finished the required two weeks’ notice at her job instead of allowing her to stay at the house.
“I really wish this would’ve worked out,” she recalled Turner telling her. “Call me when you get to your hotel, so I know you made it safe.”
The Post has contacted reps for ABC for comment.
The finale of “The Golden Bachelor” airs Thursday at 8 EST on ABC. Turner must choose between two women, Leslie Fhima and Theresa Nist.
