He opened for Bob Hope in 1986 at the Aspen Resort in Parsippany, New Jersey. That same year, the band of which Stephen was a member (Rich Kelly and Friendship) performed a private concert for super-heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson. Tyson commented on how "awesome" Stephen's voice was, and how fast he could play the bass.

Stephen has been an avid horror/sci-fi fan from an early age. When he was visiting his father, Remo Pisani, in Hollywood, at age 7, Remo took little Stevie to visit his favorite horror star -- Glenn Strange of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948) fame. (Ironically, while Steve's father Remo played Matt the bartender on Bonanza (1959), Glenn Strange played Sam the bartender on the rival TV western, _Gunsmoke).) The autographed photo that Glenn gave to little Stevie became the first item in his now-extensive collection of horror and sci-fi props, models, and other items -- which prominently features various Frankenstein collectibles.
Performed his original song in concert for Jesse Jackson, who presented Stephen's lyrics to Bill Clinton, from whom Stephen received an official thank-you for his original composition and community service.
