American actress, comedian, and producer Aubrey Christina Plaza was born on June 26, 1984. At the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, she developed her improv and sketch comedy skills.
Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware, to lawyer Bernadette Plaza and financial specialist David Plaza. Her younger sisters Renee and Natalie share her.
Plaza was given its name after Bread’s song “Aubrey.” Ismael, her paternal grandfather, arrived in America at the age of barely 17 years old. He was created in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Her mother’s heritage is a fusion of Irish and English. She also acknowledged that she was a Taino descendant. Since 2011, Plaza has been dating writer and director Jeff Baena.
